Agilent's XL1-Blue MR Supercompetent Cells (Catalog No. 200229) are designed for high-efficiency transformation in molecular cloning applications. These E. coli cells are engineered to provide high transformation efficiencies, making them suitable for cloning large or complex DNA constructs. The XL1-Blue MR strain is recA1 endA1, which enhances plasmid yield and quality, and is tetracycline resistant. The product includes 5 tubes, each containing 0.2 ml of supercompetent cells, and is supplied with SOC medium for recovery. These cells are ideal for blue/white screening and are compatible with a wide range of cloning vectors.
