The pBluescript II SK(+) Phagemid Kit from Agilent Technologies is designed for high-efficiency cloning and sequencing applications. The kit features the pBluescript II SK(+) phagemid vector, which contains a high-copy number ColE1-based origin of replication, an ampicillin resistance gene for selection, and a versatile multiple cloning site (MCS) flanked by T3 and T7 RNA polymerase promoters. The vector also includes the lacZ± gene for blue/white screening of recombinants. The kit is suitable for a wide range of molecular biology workflows, including subcloning, in vitro transcription, and single-stranded DNA production using helper phage.
