The pBC SK(-) Phagemid from Agilent Technologies is a versatile cloning vector designed for high-efficiency subcloning and DNA manipulation. It features a high-copy number ColE1 origin of replication, an extensive multiple cloning site (MCS) flanked by T3 and T7 promoters for in vitro transcription, and selectable markers for ampicillin and chloramphenicol resistance. The vector is compatible with blue/white screening due to the presence of the lacZ± fragment. pBC SK(-) is suitable for a wide range of molecular biology applications, including library construction, sequencing, and in vitro expression studies.
