The pCAL-c Vector from Agilent Technologies is designed for the expression and purification of recombinant proteins in Escherichia coli. This vector is part of the Protein Expression Vectors product line and features a calmodulin-binding peptide (CBP) tag at the C-terminus, which enables efficient affinity purification of expressed proteins using calmodulin resin. The pCAL-c Vector includes a strong T7 promoter for high-level expression, multiple cloning sites for flexible cloning options, and an ampicillin resistance marker for selection in E. coli.
