SureStart Taq DNA Polymerase is a recombinant, thermostable DNA polymerase designed for routine PCR applications. It features a hot-start mechanism that prevents non-specific amplification and primer-dimer formation by inhibiting enzyme activity at ambient temperatures. The enzyme is activated by a short pre-incubation at 95°C, ensuring high specificity and yield. SureStart Taq DNA Polymerase is suitable for a wide range of PCR templates, including complex genomic DNA, and is supplied at a concentration of 5 U/¼L. The 1000 U format provides ample enzyme for high-throughput or large-scale PCR workflows.
