Anritsu Option 70, 70 kHz Low-end Frequency Extension
The Anritsu MS4640B-070 is an official factory-installed option for the VectorStar MS4640B Series Vector Network Analyzers. Option 70 extends the low-end frequency range of the instrument down to 70 kHz, enabling highly accurate S-parameter measurements from 70 kHz up to the maximum frequency of the mainframe. This extension is particularly valuable for applications requiring broadband measurements, such as materials characterization, component testing, and research in RF/microwave engineering. The option maintains the analyzers high dynamic range and measurement accuracy across the extended frequency range. Installation of Option 70 must be performed by Anritsu or an authorized service center.
