The NI PXIe-5842 is a Vector Signal Transceiver (VST) designed for high-performance RF and wireless test applications. It features frequency coverage from 50 MHz to 8 GHz and up to 1 GHz of instantaneous bandwidth for both analysis and generation. The PXIe-5842 integrates a vector signal generator and vector signal analyzer with a user-programmable FPGA, enabling real-time signal processing and customization. It supports advanced measurement capabilities, low latency, and high throughput, making it suitable for demanding applications such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, radar, and aerospace/defense testing.
