The Rohde & Schwarz 1317.8973.02 is a hardware option for the R&S®ZNB40 vector network analyzer, enabling an extended power range down to -60 dBm for 2-port configurations. This option is available either ex factory or as a service retrofit, and it enhances the instrument's measurement capabilities by allowing precise S-parameter measurements at very low power levels. The extended dynamic range is particularly beneficial for applications requiring high sensitivity, such as component characterization and research in RF and microwave domains. Installation of this option must be performed by Rohde & Schwarz service personnel or specified at the time of order.
