The Rohde & Schwarz Noise Figure and Gain Measurement software license (part number 1323.1760.02) enables noise figure and gain measurements on supported instruments such as the R&S FPL1000 spectrum analyzer and the R&S ZNL vector network analyzer. This software option requires the FPL1-B5 baseband analysis option and an external noise source for operation. For optimal performance in the FPL series, the internal preamplifier option FPL1-B22 is recommended. When used with the ZNL series, an external preamplifier is recommended and the ZNLx-B1 option is required. The license provides advanced measurement capabilities for characterizing low-noise amplifiers and other RF components, supporting accurate and repeatable results in research, development, and production environments.
