The R&S®SMW-B14 Fading Simulator is a hardware option for the R&S®SMW200A Vector Signal Generator, designed to simulate realistic fading scenarios for wireless communications testing. This option enables the generation of complex fading profiles, supporting up to 8x2 MIMO fading channels. It is ideal for evaluating receiver performance under multipath and Doppler conditions. The R&S®SMW-B14 requires the presence of R&S®SMW-B13/B13T and R&S®SMW-B10 options and must be retrofitted by Rohde & Schwarz service. The simulator is suitable for advanced wireless standard testing, including LTE, 5G, and WLAN, ensuring accurate and repeatable channel emulation.
