The R&S®SMW-K255 is an option for the R&S®SMW200A vector signal generator, enabling the generation of EUTRA/LTE Release 10 (LTE-Advanced) signals. This software option supports advanced LTE features such as carrier aggregation, higher-order MIMO, and enhanced uplink/downlink configurations, in compliance with 3GPP Release 10 specifications. The floating license model allows flexible usage across multiple workstations within a network. The R&S®SMW-K255 requires both the R&S®SMW200A hardware and the R&S®WinIQSIM2 simulation software for full functionality.
