The R&S®SMW-K545 software option (part number 1414.6529.02) enables advanced pulse-on-pulse and pulse-on-CW simulation capabilities with more than two emitters on the R&S®SMW200A Vector Signal Generator. This option increases the PDW (Pulse Descriptor Word) streaming rate per SMW, allowing for the generation and simulation of complex radar scenarios involving multiple overlapping pulses and continuous wave signals. It is designed for demanding radar and electronic warfare test applications, supporting the creation of realistic multi-emitter environments. The option requires two R&S®SMW-B9 baseband mainboards, two R&S®SMW-B15 digital baseband interfaces, and two R&S®SMW-K502 PDW streaming options to function. The license is delivered as a software key and integrates seamlessly with the SMW200A platform, enhancing its signal generation flexibility and performance for advanced test setups.
