The R&S®SMW-K545 software option (part number 1414.6529.07) enables advanced pulse-on-pulse and pulse-on-CW simulation capabilities with more than two emitters on the R&S®SMW200A Vector Signal Generator. This option increases the pulse descriptor word (PDW) streaming rate per SMW, allowing for more complex and realistic radar signal environment simulations. It is designed for demanding radar and electronic warfare test scenarios, supporting the generation of overlapping pulses and simultaneous emitter signals. The option requires two R&S®SMW-B9 baseband mainboards, two R&S®SMW-B15 digital baseband interfaces, and two R&S®SMW-K502 real-time sequencing options. The software license is delivered electronically and enhances the flexibility and performance of the SMW200A for advanced radar signal simulation tasks.
