The R&S®SMW-K545 software option (part number 1414.6529.11) enables pulse-on-pulse and pulse-on-CW simulation with more than two emitters on the R&S®SMW200A Vector Signal Generator. This option increases the PDW (Pulse Descriptor Word) streaming rate per SMW, allowing for advanced radar signal simulation scenarios. It is designed for users who require complex multi-emitter environments for radar and EW (Electronic Warfare) testing. The option requires two R&S®SMW-B9 baseband mainboards, two R&S®SMW-B15 digital baseband interfaces, and two R&S®SMW-K502 PDW streaming options. The license is delivered as a software key and integrates seamlessly with the SMW200A platform, supporting demanding test requirements for modern radar and EW systems.
