The R&S®SGT-K17 is a software license option for the R&S®SGT100A vector RF source, enabling a second arbitrary waveform generator (ARB) for envelope signal generation. This option is specifically designed to work in conjunction with the R&S®SGT-K16 (Envelope Tracking) option. It allows users to generate and output a second, independent envelope signal, which is essential for advanced envelope tracking and digital predistortion (DPD) applications. Please note that existing SGT units with serial numbers below 102000 cannot be retrofitted with the required hardware for analog IQ outputs, and thus are not compatible with this option.
