This chassis is a prerequisite for installing certain hardware options, namely R&S®SMW-B2012, R&S®SMW-B2031, R&S®SMW-B2044, and R&S®SMW-B2044N. Importantly, this deeper chassis option must be specified at the time of initial instrument order, as it cannot be retrofitted or installed after the instrument has left the factory.
