The R&S®SMM-K510 is a software license option for the R&S®SMM100A vector signal generator, enabling IQ streaming over UDP/Ethernet from a PC directly into the instruments baseband generator via the high-speed digital I/Q interface. This feature allows users to transmit real-time I/Q data streams from external sources, such as simulation software or custom waveform generators, to the SMM100A for flexible and dynamic signal generation. The option requires the R&S®SMM-B9 high-speed digital I/Q interface hardware to be installed. With this capability, users can perform advanced test scenarios, including hardware-in-the-loop and real-time signal processing, making it ideal for demanding research, development, and verification tasks in wireless communications and related fields.
