Rohde & Schwarz Baseband extension to 1 GHz RF BW for R&S®SMM100A R&S®SMM-B9, R&S®SMM-K523 and R&S®SMM-K524 required (software license)
The R&S®SMM100A baseband extension to 1 GHz RF bandwidth (part number 1441.2089.02) is a software license option that enables the R&S®SMM100A vector signal generator to generate and process signals with up to 1 GHz of RF bandwidth. This extension requires the presence of the R&S®SMM-B9 baseband hardware option as well as the R&S®SMM-K523 and R&S®SMM-K524 software options. With this upgrade, the SMM100A supports advanced wideband applications such as 5G NR, satellite communications, and radar signal generation, providing high signal fidelity and flexibility for demanding test scenarios. The license is delivered electronically and unlocks the extended bandwidth capabilities on compatible instruments.
