The R&S®HMC8015 L6-OPT-HRM (part number 1603.0878.02) is a firmware option for the R&S®HMC8015 power analyzer, enabling advanced harmonic analysis capabilities. With this option, the instrument can analyze voltage (U), current (I), active power (P), reactive power (Q), and apparent power (S) harmonics up to 1000 harmonics/bins internally and up to 2000 harmonics/bins via interface, depending on filter settings (up to 600 kHz) and the fundamental frequency (up to 7.5 kHz). This option is designed for precise compliance testing and in-depth power quality analysis, supporting detailed evaluation of harmonic content in accordance with international standards. The L6-OPT-HRM enhances the HMC8015s measurement capabilities, making it suitable for laboratory, development, and quality assurance environments.
