The Sorensen SG-PF is a Passive Power Factor Correction (PFC) feature designed for the SG Series programmable DC power supplies. This option provides a power factor of 0.9 at full load and is standard on SG Series models with output voltages of 10V, 15V, 20V, 30V, 50V, and 1000V. The passive PFC improves the efficiency of AC input power usage, reducing harmonic distortion and enhancing overall system performance. This feature ensures compliance with power quality standards and is integrated into the specified SG Series models at the time of manufacture.
