The EDFOS-DECSW-UPG is a software upgrade option for VIAVI Solutions' Distributed Temperature and Strain Sensing (DTSS) systems. This upgrade enables advanced temperature and strain decorrelation capabilities, allowing users to distinguish between temperature and strain effects in optical fiber sensing applications. By implementing decorrelation algorithms, the software enhances the accuracy and reliability of measurements in environments where both temperature and strain variations occur simultaneously. This option is designed to improve the performance of DTSS systems in complex monitoring scenarios, such as structural health monitoring, geotechnical applications, and energy infrastructure.
