The Yokogawa AQ7284A is an OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) module designed for use with the AQ7280 series OTDR mainframes. It features dual-wavelength operation at 1310 nm and 1550 nm, with dynamic ranges of 46 dB at 1310 nm and 45 dB at 1550 nm. This module is suitable for long-haul fiber network testing, offering high measurement accuracy, fast data acquisition, and advanced analysis functions. The AQ7284A supports event dead zones as low as 0.8 m and attenuation dead zones of 4 m, enabling precise detection of closely spaced events and faults in optical fiber links.
